On February 5th, we hosted Adrienne Argent, an instructor at Capilano University’s exceptional Early Childhood Care and Education program, for her presentation on the material presented in their exhibit at Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House for our Encounters Exhibit.
The presentation, entitled “I am Together: What Happens When We Pay Attention to Our Problems?” was excellent and stimulated a lively discussion among the early childhood educators present. Our conversations explored ideas around the ways in which educators and parents can stimulate the creative spark in children by setting aside the pressure to answer questions and solve problems, instead allowing children the space for their own alternate explorations.
Our thanks to Adrienne for an engaging presentation!
